KSeF invoice validation
KSeF (Krajowy System e-Faktur) is Poland's national e-invoicing system, operated by Poland's tax administration. Invogi validates every incoming KSeF FA(3) invoice against the official FA(3) XML schema before it is paid, on every plan.
What Invogi checks
KSeF validation, stated precisely
FA(3) detection
Invoices in the FA(3) structure are recognised by their official namespace. Earlier structures such as FA(2) are not accepted.
Official FA(3) schema
Every invoice is validated against the Ministry of Finance's FA(3) schema (version 1-0E): structure, mandatory elements, data types, and the formats the schema defines, such as NIP numbers.
No setup required
Schema validation runs inside Invogi's own API for every KSeF invoice, with no setting to enable and no invoice sent to a third-party validator.
Evidence on every validation result
Validation results quote each schema violation with its line and element, together with the validator and schema version used.
Poland's national system
A tax-administration-operated platform
KSeF is operated directly by Poland's tax administration for issuing and receiving structured invoices. Invogi checks the FA(3) structure your suppliers send, so malformed invoices are caught before payment rather than after.
- National e-invoicing system operated by Poland's tax administration
- Official FA(3) schema validation on every incoming KSeF invoice
- Do not schedule a business decision against a specific KSeF date without reconfirming it first
Invogi checks invoices against the published FA(3) schema. It does not replace the checks KSeF itself performs, and a failed check is flagged for review, never blocked automatically. Mandate dates can change; confirm the official timeline with Poland's tax administration and your own advisors.
FAQ
Common questions
What is KSeF?
KSeF (Krajowy System e-Faktur) is Poland's national e-invoicing system, operated by Poland's tax administration, for issuing and receiving structured invoices.
When is KSeF mandatory in Poland?
KSeF mandate dates have shifted multiple times. Treat any specific go-live date you see elsewhere as unconfirmed until checked against the current official timeline from Poland's tax administration.
Does Invogi validate KSeF invoices?
Yes. Every KSeF FA(3) invoice Invogi receives is validated against the official FA(3) XML schema published by Poland's Ministry of Finance, on every plan. This is schema validation: it does not replace the checks KSeF itself performs and is not legal or tax advice.
